Let me Squash all of this with one post.
Why because cotto beat a 36 year old mosley and beat a fighter floyd already did in zab, an overrated number 10 ranked urkel and then a tune up against gomez. Oh yeah, he also beat quintana.........If that means anything.
Trust me I'm a huge cotto fan, but mayweathers resume at 147+ is just as good if not better.
35 year old oscar ( champ ). Zab Judah ( champ ). Carlos Baldomir (undefeated in 10 years champ ). Hatton ( undefeated former 147 champ ). Sharmbe Mitchell ( tune up yes, former champ? yes ) better than gomez ever was? yes )
So lets compare, and I'll do this as accurately as possible. They both have 5 fights at 147 to my knowlege.
Oscar = Mosley
Zab against Floyd > Zab against Cotto
Baldomir > Urkel
Mitchell > Gomez
Hatton > Quintana
I dont think you can argue with that ^^^. Sorry guys. Floyds resume at 147 is better than cotto's.
