Thanks for the insight on the ringside Reyes. I may talk to Cleto Reyes in Mexico and see if I can get a custom pair made for small hands.
The leather on the everlast is very good. I wouldnt worry about that. I just like the leather on the promex as a personal preference (its a different kind, like the Reyes are goat, I believe everlast are cowhide), and the everlast leather is just as good as my Ultimate classic leather (black portion) or my title gels.
I would definately suggest a pair of winnings. especially for a pair of bag/pad gloves, and another if you really want to go hard while sparring.
The velcro is definately a bonus for mma guys cause of all the different drills and switching off between partners alternating between pads and gloves, or going from mma gloves to boxing for ground and pound drills (one guy pounds or passes, the other tries to submit and control pounder).
