Nick is a rookie! Class in session...
Thanks again Porkchop. I wonder what would be the difference between Mexican Cleto Reyes and the ones advertised on Combatsports?

I actually talked to a guy at Title and he said that his preference would be Triumph, Fightingsports, then Hayabusa in terms of quality. Then I read on a different forum where a different guy from Title who posts said Fightingsports, Triumph, then Hayabusa. Who knows huh? I think all three look to be kind of streamlined and not big puffy pillows. The guy at carnaldamage(yes, that's a legit site) said he would ship the Triumph's to me here in Canada for free so I'd just pay the price of the gloves.

So Fightingsports are at the highend of Title's line? I didn't even know they were made by Title and thought they were another brand. Interesting. I don't think Hayabusa are a Canadian brand since I live here and have been having trouble finding any quality gloves for my son other than Top Tens and Twins, which I don't want. As I mentioned I've been waiting forever for some Cleto Reyes from a supplier and I'm ready to move on and bite the bullet and pay the currency exchange and duties.

Don Flamenco, can you describe more detail for me about the G&S Gloves? Are they big and round in profile, streamlind, or somewhere in between? How is the wrist support? My son's coach said to get laceups. Is it a more rounded striking surface or flatter?

His coach said it really doesn't matter about the hardness of the gloves for sparring as long as they're 16oz. Alot of guys use Reyes, Grants, Ringsides, and Titles.
