Ted-
For a few years there,Camacho was fighting on the HOF Weekend Card and I was thinking that maybe the point of that was partly looking to the future when Hector was going to be a very borderline decision. It's a very tough call, the biggest wins on his resume, other than Rosario, were all at the twilight of those fighters careers(SRL,Duran,Mancini, etc.) but except for the last loss against Walsh and the controversial one in Haugen I,the only other people to beat him are three easy first ballot HOF'ers in Chavez,Trinidad, and De La Hoya. Some of the names on there might not ring bells with younger fans, but Rafael Solis,Greg Richardson,Melvin Paul, etc. were high quality wins.
There's been lesser fighters being inducted the last several years, you can look at recent classes and pick them out. Ismael Laguna? Barry McGuigan? Ingemar Johansen? Why not Camacho? As for Personality that might rub someone the wrong way,it shouldn't even be a consideration....
