Hand Wrap Question?

Hey guys, I'm starting at a boxing gym Thursday. I've been lifting weights and putting on a few pounds just go get in better shape. I talked to a local boxing gym owner, and I'm going to start boxing at a gym just for fun and to stay in great shape, and he told me to bring hand wrap (next Tuesday, not tomorrow). The only two local stores that carry hand wrap only have it in 108", which seems a bit short considering a guy at the gym I know told me his is 180". Should I pick up some of that 108" wrap, or get some 180" wrap off the everlast website tonight? I'm 6'3" or so and about 170 pounds, so my hands are fairly big.

Thanks in advance for helping a new guy out!

180 online. No question.

I didn't have that option available to me, so I bought two sets of 108, can't stand it.

Thanks man, I appreciate it. I was wondering how the 108" would work. I'm gonna get this Everlast Mexican-style because I hear it's more comfortable, haven't heard any downsides to it.

Yeah I get what you're saying Stan, I'm hoping they come in by the time I'm ready to go out there. If not, I may go buy a set of 108" wrap or call the guy who told me about this boxing gym and ask if i can borrow a some for a day.

Yeah i guess its betetr to lokk after your hands from early on because once you get the scar tissue on them they open up so easily after that.

One other quick question for the guys following this- I will have hand wrap and a speedrope, is there anything else I don't know about that I should bring? I figure I'll ask you guys and pretend to them I knew all along haha.
