Have a question for you guys, which may sound dumb, but I figured I may as well just go ahead and ask. Is my hair going to be an issue? I have pretty long hair, and I was wondering if I would have to cut it if I decided to join a boxing gym and start doing amateure fights.

If it'll interfere with the fight such as scratch the opponents face with it then it has to be cut off

get some braids and rub it on someone real hard with a head butt. The friction will make an abrasion on a person. And if you have a cut and rub it on it it'll bother someone worse. They have people with braids that box professionally but they don't allow a lot of things like facial hair and stuff in amateur boxing. It can bother someone sometimes or maybe they just want you to be clean? iono but all i know is that it can bother a person and your long hair may have to go
