Though he says he isn't aggressively going after the fight contrary to earlier rumors, Bernard Hopkins says he'd consider a rematch with Felix Trinidad, a fighter he demolished nearly eight years ago.
Hopkins told Primera Hora (via BoxingScene.com) that he hasn't been contacted by Trinidad's promoter Don King or by Richard Schaefer of Golden Boy about a fight with Trinidad. He does add, though, "The possibility of a second fight with him would interest me. ... It's something that should have happened many years ago. Although we are no longer the same [fighters] that we were eight years ago, it would still be an attractive fight."
