Gloves size

I am new in boxing and planning to buy a pair of training gloves to start...what size of gloves should I buy, 10oz, 12oz or 14oz? I am 5'6" and 120 pounds.

Will you e using them for sparring or just bag training? If you are using for sparring, make sure you get a "training" glove and not a "bag" glove as they are designed differently. ALso, if you go with a training glove for sparring, it should be at least 14 ounces.

14oz would probably be better for your weight than 16oz. Im around the same weight and I use 14s

Bag glove could be a 12 oz. For your size that should be fine.
