WIll this Work?

Hey guys just curious if this would work the same as a ceiling mount or what you all think about this. I have an issue with hanging from the ceiling but I do have a wall in my garage so let me know what you all think.

I would recommend hanging it in the fashion that I did. Check out this thread and you'll see my posts about how I hung my bag in my old garage...

The only problem I would see with that is the ability to be able to move around the bag freely on the wall side, other than that it looks like it would hold up.

theres a lot of techniques you have trouble working with a bag against the wall. a free hanging bag is still the best'

what happens when the point where you connect the bag wears out from the friction?Do you buy a new one ? or do you take it to a welder and pay him $35.00 an hour to fix it?
