for years products for hanging the heavy bag have been cheap until title boxing came out with the rafter hanger. its the only US patented bag hanger made in the USA my rafter hanger holds my custom 300lb heavy bag with no problem. My buddy bought the everlast joist mount that seems to be a copy cat of rafter hanger and sent it back.His dad is a welder and said it was junk.Check the quality of these different bag hangers, especially the welds.Boxing equipment is like anything else you get what you pay for.
