i use to be on another forum and there were articles posted by top writers. their threads would be put into a boxing forum section. that was generally quite good for info.

I think with this forum, thats more handled through user blogs and general discussion article posts.

the reason why i thought about having an article section is sorta using it as news. so if someone wnated to know the latest news they could go on there instead of search amongst other threads that normal posters make.

so just say if i was away for 3 days and then wnated to do some catch up. i could get a day by day thing going where only the original article is posted. this means it should be accurate day by day sicne no one can bump.

maybe it's too much work i'm not sure. maybe it can be submitted so that there's a seperate section for where no one can post and it can also be in the general boxing bit where peopel can post to it.

Nice idea "unseen", it's not too bad at the minute but an article section would give the forum an extra something, but like I said, it's not too bad at the minute

suppose it's not bad now. if it was a very busy forum it would be harder to read new articles if others kept making new threads i suppose.

its definitely not a bad idea. Blogs get less attention, and theres not too many actual "articles" written. I'd personally like to see it happen. I think there are a few people here who could write some quality articles...

BLOGS DEFINITELY NEED MORE ATTENTION. I've written two and only had one comment. Most blogs have no comments, yet they're really good reads.

if we get writers we could. We cant post entire articles due to copyright laws.
