New boxing fan here, what should I watch first?

Hi,
I've been training mma/kickboxing at a local gym and recently dropped into their boxing class. It was a lot of fun, and made me realized I really haven't watched much boxing.

I was hoping someone could point me to some exciting, technical matches that have happened in the recent past (i.e after 2000ish). Please don't state the result, as I probably don't know them, even for marquee fights.

A few I have seen/know the results - pacquiao/hatton, pacquiao/delahoya, floyd/hatton... thats actually all i can think of

so anything outside of that, please tell me if its a really good one to watch/start with!

Thanks

Go get yourself some Arturo Gatti fights. My primary suggestions in order:

Ivan Robinson I
Micky Ward I
Wilson Rodriguez
Ivan Robinson II
Gabriel Ruelas
Micky Ward III

Then any other Gatti fight.

I was just playing. Avoid those 2 I listed at all costs. They might make you stop watching Boxing. Check out Diego Corrales-Jose Luis Castillo 1. Classic fight. And check out the 3 Rafael Marquez-Israel Vazquez fights

So I just finished the Diaz/Marquez fight... wow.. that was amazing.

I have nothing but respect for the discipline and dedicated intelligence Marquez must have to win the fight in that fashion...
I've always been an MMA fan first and foremost, but as one of the few boxing matches I've seen, that leaves a big impression!

On to some of the other recommendations
