Floyd is a built up
good defensive boxer!I scored the fight 6 rounds for De La Hoya 5 rounds for Mayweather and 1 draw.I demand a rematch!!!!!!!!!!!!
"You have to give the fight to Oscar on points",Floyd senior (after the fight)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
your obviously biased, i had it 9 rounds to 3 for mayweather. You jsut cant score pitty patty against the ropes. I thought besides delahoya one flurry per round, floyd one every second. I loved the rally at the end and i thought mayweather hurt delahoya 3 times. One time big to the body. Floyd deserves this, very good fight though. To bad he will never get credit, people are to into the OH and floyd sr is just stirring things up, he is so confused as it is.
i didn't feel floyd did enough to take the title here, you could argue with the result but
oscar pushed and made the fight IMO, floyd in flashes looked unbelievable but he didn't do it enough
certinly not to enough to take the belt. roth and giampa. hmmmm
Oscar did not land many clean solid punches throughout this fight. Floyd displayed better defense, better movement, and far superior accuracy. He landed the better quality shots for sure, especially his straight right.
Oscar gave a great effort, but just didnt have enough in the tank in the second half of the fight. He abandoned his jab, and was too inactive which ended up being his demise. The scoring was only suspect from one judge. 115-113 for Oscar didnt seem accurate.

yeah all 3 espn judges had it 8-4 mayweather and 1 had it 7 to 5, i had it 9 -3. I dont think oscar did anything all time except throw on little flurry all round and no punch connected. I thought floyd did more than enough to win the title. I was so glad they didnt rob him. I thought mayweather stood in there like a man and fought with him, he slapped him, oscar didnt slap back.

the comentry team from the uk heard the u.s guys had floyd well up (about 4 rounds) at the half way point or just over, i feel a lot of guys can be influenced by this. im not saying you were captain but i just dont see how you could score it for floyd.
thats what makes our sport so great though, rarely do you get the same opinion from everybody.

single punches impress you?
floyd done very little apart from that, he got owned the first half of the fight, came strong the second and lost the fight in the last round imo.
haha, you count nothing? oscar looked like he got old over night. I count single punches over nothing, and floyd was the one who came to fight. oscar couldnt do it, you could see it in his face.
I gave it to oscar by 1 round, even though his punches didnt hurt floyd much he threw more and his jam was effective but did not use it enough.oscar did a great job blocking all most all of floyds punches with his gloves.Oscar did better than most expected, worth a rematch!!
