I think Chavez jr will likely aim to come to the fight at the same weight he came for the Lee fight. He looked good and didn't seemed to have his usual stamina issues.

I think if Chavez comes with at least the same preparation for this fight (but I believe it will be better), he has a real chance to pull the upset.

IMO Martinez is good, really good, but he is quite overrated, maybe because of his stunning KO to PW. He is fast, a good counterpuncher and he knows how to walk the ring in his favor, but to me, he's not invincible as many claim him to be. Personally, I think Chavez' style can give a lot of troubles to him. Look at what happened in the Margarito fight, he lost against the style.

I know that Martinez has improved a lot since that fight, but Chavez is also better, heavier and faster than Margarito, so....

Chavez likes to use his size to press on the ropes, but I don't think he can do it with Martinez who has enough skills to jab and move. I use to think Martinez easily, but if Chavez can impose himself wihout too much weight issues as well, then he has a good chance. However Chavez needs to really work on his defense because he very well can get TKO'd.

This could be the fight of the year. Martinez has all the skill and timing in the world but Chavez has proven himself to be a hungry fighter and all this talk of him being where he is because of his dad has really lit a fire up his arse. Chavez is looking for blood. I've always claimed Chavez will give Martinez his toughest fight, forget Pavlik and Williams, this will define Sergio.
