How the fucck do you know what the facts are, and even if he did that, fucck it, is about time a fighter screws a manager for a change, I don't blame his one bit getting his jaw broken while the other idiots just stand by watching waiting to collect on his hard work ,pain and suffering , so STFU about stabbing anybody in the back cause is none of your business how he handles his business..... if the manger was too dumb to keep his zhit up to date than is on him.

Ortiz is pretty dumb and that is a bad move. It is on Boxing Scene. However what is sad is that the man takes 24% cut! Only a manager!

Well, according to them, they needed to be informed by the commission.

Why are you concerned by what I am thinking LOL... It is an opinion and a scumbag move because Victor actually knew that the license was expired and played a long on it.

If my work contract ran out, and I forgot it did but worked 3 months, I would expect to get paid.

yeah you would expect to get pay but thecnically they woundn't be legally bound to pay you, they would tell you that in a court dispute, same as if a lawyer represented you and won the case and then you find out he was never licensed to practice law, you wouldn't be obligated to pay him because he was working under false pretenses get it...
Your right it is your opinion, and here is mine again, those managers don't work! all they do is run their mouth and talk on the phone all day, so what if a fighter beat a manager to the punch for a change, even if he did know his license was gonna be expired, I'm sure he had some kind of beef against the guy and yes decided to fucck him... IMO those managers are way over compensated as it is, let him go to work for real rather than just sit back and wait to get paid, while the fighter takes all the beatings..

I agree that they get paid a lot, a hell of a lot but it's what he signed for and accepted. I don't have issues with telling someone straight, but the deceiving part I didn't like. This is where I feel Ortiz was not acting like a real man. When I was planning to leave my work place, I did it like a man and told them straight up. It wasn't easy because I was there for 7 years but I feel I acted better than others who just jumped ship in one day.
