Let's Say Hatton Is Making a Comeback
How would you manage him? How would you shape his comeback assuming he has a fight or two at 140, but realises he can no longer make 140 and must move to 147?

Classic Hatton stuff, 3-4 easy fights he can look good in before he will cash out against someone better.

Bradley, Khan, Kell Brook, Garcia and possibly Ricky Burns. All would make good money in the right places and Hatton would lose to all but Burns.

Don't like Hatton much, do you?
Seems rough putting him in with a bunch of people you think would beat him.

1.- vs Humberto Soto at 140
2.- vs the loser of Rios - Alvarado at 140
3.- vs Morales at 147
If he wins this 3 fights, I'll put him against the winner of Bailey - Alexander.
After that, look for a payday defending the belt against Khan or Brook.

Thats why i said he will just cash out after some easy fights - because at this point he wont beat anyone good.

If I was managing Hatton, I'd do my damned best to keep him at 140 but realistically that seems impossible, without sacrificing him physically, so a move up to 147 makes sense.
There, I think a big money clash with Morales makes a hell of a lot of sense. I know it's a tough fight to put Hatton in straight away but I think he beats Morales. Especialy if Morales is forced to go up in weight, which he'll do after losing to Garcia and coming out of retirement for one of the biggest paydays in his career. The fight could be for any number of vacant "world" championships.
After that, a couple domestic title defences in packed football stadiums, can be against the likes of Jackiewicz, maybe a much sought after fight against the badly faded Witter and 3rd defence against a Lee Purdy type fighter.
After that, Hatton could be easily cashed in against the likes of Khan, Brook, Maidana, Rios, Guerrero, Berto or Ortiz.
