Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. came clean when he tested positive after his fight with Sergio Martinez. We all make mistakes, champ and chump alike, and we’re all about forgiving and forgetting. Chavez apologized for having smoked marijuana, and his career will resume once he’s clean and sober.

“Any explanation or justification that I try to give about the recent events, will be of no use,” he wrote in his mea culpa last week. “That is why I want to say that I’m totally responsible for my actions, as well as the consequences thereof. I want to apologize to all the people who felt offended by my actions. I made them, and only I should face the consequences.”

I applaud the fact that he was honest about it and didn't try to bullzhit his way out of it, it worked out for the best, they gave him a slap on the hand and fined him only 10,000 dollars .. big deal ,hopefully he'll follow their recommendation and seek some counseling at a drug treatment center......they guy is young and still has the world by the ballz.......

I heard that they said he didn't smoked but he drank some tea or something to sleep. LOL

Paying 10k for weed is alot but for someone who earned over 2m dollars, I dont think its that much at all.

Yeah, its just weed, but that doesnt mean it does you any good when preparing for a fight, specially when you're trying to make weight and fighting hunger lol
