Mike Tyson says Haye will be champ again and Klitschkos would have given him problems

Mike Tyson believes that London heavyweight David Haye could be a world champion again, and that the Klitschkos would have given him problems in the ring.

“The heavyweight scene still good not exactly what it used to be there used to be lots of drama – it was like a soap opera in the 90s when we were fighting. We used to be just like a group of rumbunctious fighters and people liked action-packed fights. Now they're sophisticated stand up boxers – it's just what people get used to. Now it's very calm and serene because of the current champions. Haye is a great fighter, and he impressed me against Wladimir Klitschko. I thought Wladimir would beat him easier than that. The Klitschkos are great fighters – you can't take that away from them. They would have given anyone problems – including me.”

"They would be tough for anybody to fight. I know people hate to believe this but they're tough for anybody. Sometimes we don't want to believe it. We're stuck on apple pie in our era. We like Chuck Berry; we like Elvis Presley. People get better as men from the cavemen to now. We are supposed to get better. From the 80s to now we've got better. We've got more technology, more people are made, we get more money, the world is bigger, and we become better. So these guys would be difficult to beat for anybody who came before them."

"We'll find another guy like that but this has probably been the longest period we have had without a new outstanding heavyweight emerging. If they find someone who's exciting, people will like it. People always like exciting fighters. It's not like I miss my era. The Klitchkos are exciting, in their way. They're fighting very often as well. They're not big in Britain or America but in Germany and the Balkans they sell out, they do really well."

Tyson believes Haye could come again. "I know David Haye. As time goes on I hope he progresses to a more mature fighter. I think if he keeps fighting and gets more experience hell be a heavyweight champ again."

"David Haye does have humility he just doesn't have the humility we think he should have. He does have humility when he's alone. He knows what he's doing. This isn't an actor this is a real act what he's doing. It's funny cause it's not him but it is him, this is what he has to do to accomplish the goals that he needs to achieve. We are in the hurt business. The Klitchkos give it a new look but this is what people thought when Gene Tunney was champion. He was different. They all have their own way. I don't care if he's black, white, Ukrainian, Russian, British or American. They do things their own way. That's what having the heavyweight belt does to people."

Tyson, however, does not believe the leading American heavyweights will win the heavyweight title any time soon. "Deontay Wilder and Seth Mitchell can't do it. They can't beat the Klitchkos. That's all what you want to know. Can they beat the champion right now? That's all that matters. If anybody else wants to matter they've got to beat the Klitchkos."

I see the sad and pathetic whines he constantly posts on Twitter and Face book, he still a guy in the mist if self loathing, (I'M NOT AN ANIMAL)( I never been perceived as a human being) ( People don't know the real me) and so on... For a guy who thinks he's a therapist he sure still needs a lot of therapy himself...lol Dam how time flies..

Tyson always struggled with the tall guys. Especialy when past prime he just didnt have the speed to get inside anymore. A prime Vitali would of gave him problems. Wlad would have to be more busy or Mike would KO him.

All tyson would have had against either brother is a punchers chance from 85-88 Tyson would have gave any HW a run for there money and beat a hell of alot of them but fighting a guy with the techinal skills height weight and power of Wald I think he would be biting off more that he could chew espically as the rounds go on it would become more and more either bros fight

Mike is Wlad's worst nightmare as a match up. A short, powerful fighter who closes the gap very quickly and has great head movement and countering abilities. Wlad would be KTFO within 3, I am pretty sure of that.

Vitali would give Mike problems, but I think Mike would still win, even if only by decision. Just too quick in his prime.

I can't say I fully agree, maybe just maybe a Mike Tyson at his ferocious best... I ALWAYS THOUGHT, Vitali and Wladimir were actually a couple of very timid over grown guys who peed themselves as soon as some one stood up to them, Lennox, Corrie,

Wlad freezes up against fast aggression. He doesn't like it when people go at him quick and hard with intent to KTFO ASAP. He loses control of the situation, which is exactly why Mike would destroy him. Wlad wouldn't be able to keep Mike off long enough to win, Mike would get inside and Wlad would soon find himself looking up at the lights.

Vitali has a better shot at winning because he has a much better chin than his brother and he doesn't freeze up vs aggression. His problem would be doing enough damage to keep Mike away. Vitali would have big problems with Mike's elusiveness. His toughness would see him through to a decison loss or being stopped on the stool.

Mike would shattter Wlad's glass jaw for sure, and he would get to Vitali's body and wear him out throughout the fight.

Wlad hesitates too much. And his chin is still questionable. He would realy have to unload to have a chance. If he fights at the pace he does now a prime Tyson would KO him in 1 round.

About 2-3 months ago Tyson was doing a signing in San Mateo at a sports memorabilia shop. The owners have connections with the 49ers and have some nice stuff.I didnt have time to go.
