12 rounds both prime I think this is one of the best fantasy fights Ricky's heart stamina v mikes speed and boxing ability both have great power and although I believe Rockys chin was better than mikes questions can be asked how great it really was... Personally I think mike would win he's the more natural heavyweight and a student of the game in his younger days but none if the two of them would have to go looking the other Tyson wins in 9
Tyson would either take Rocky out in 6 or less, or Marciano would take Mike out in 7 or more. Edge would likely be to Tyson because he's a fast starter and Marciano is a slow starter.

No way in hell Marciano has a prayer against Iron Mike at his beastly peak, Rocky simply way too small and slow for Mike, his arms were way to short to even be effective jabbing, Tyson would take him apart ..Marciano was pretty much a middle weight

The only problem with your theory is to answer how in hell would Marciano survive 6 rounds against Mike??

Mike's arms weren't much longer than Marciano's, and Marciano was a cruiser, not middlweight. Marciano was taller than Mike, but fought shorter than Mike did. Strength wise, Mike wasn't really very physically strong, he was usually pushed around, but his punching kept people honest. Not once did we see Marciano outmuscled, granted he didn't face guys as big as say Lewis, Holmes, or Bonecrusher Smith, but he still easily shoved bigger, strong men such as Rex Layne and Joe Louis around.
I don't think size would be the problem for Marciano, it'd be Mike's quick hands and good accuracy.

Marcianos heavyweight run was the most perfect time for him if he had of been around in dempseys or Louis prime in the 1920s to mid-late 40s he would not have been a world champion if he was around late 1950s when Liston was making waves till now he wouldn't have been champion I think even if he fought Charles 4-5 years earlyer Charles prob wud have won but due to fate Marciano remains one of the worst boxers in history to be a lineal HW champ and the only unbeaten one so fair play to him

Who in the 1920s would have beaten Marciano, or even in the 1940s, outside of arguably Louis?
Charles granted was on the decline when he fought Marciano, but he was hardly a shot fighter. He was at the stage Pac and Mayweather are now, in a slow decline but still great.
Archie Moore was at the best point in his career, and had proven himself against other top heavies such as Nino Valdez to get himself the title shot.
Jersey Joe Walcott also was a late bloomer. Until his title shots against Louis, he hadn't had proper training camps and couldn't even afford to eat properly because he was his large family before himself.
Roland LaStarza, as we know, was a solid boxer with a bit of a right hand. All around solid guy with a great chin.
Don Cockell was a smart fighter, although Marciano put on a self admitted worst career performance against him.
Joe Louis, while past prime, was not a shot fighter. His jab, power, strength, and accuracy were still there. He had lost a lot of handspeed and footmovement (never very good in the first place), yet was still closing in on another title shot because he was still knocking guys out. Marciano himself didn't want to fight Louis, but had no choice and really brutalised him in the end.
Marciano tended to ruin fighters physically. He ruined Rex Layne, Ezzard Charles, Don Cockell, Roland LaStarza, and Carmine Vingo (was put into a coma, nearly died, ironically the last surviving Marciano oponent).
Plenty of boxers thought Marciano would be easy to hit and easy to outbox, but they all admitted afterwards that this was not the case. Harry Mathews, Jersey Joe Walcott, and Ezzard Charles all admitted that he was actually pretty hard to hit clean with a good shot and that he is much better than he looks on film.

Jack Dempsey Harry wills Gene Tunney would have beating Rocky in the 1920s probably Sam Langford as well If you think that the Joe Louis that fought Marciano was even a shadow of his former self your kidding yourself Louis was still able to win fights against people know one remembers but he was shot his timing was away he had lost speed still had some power but he was always a KO artist he had to go the distance against men that wouldnt had lasted 3 rounds in his heyday.
Charles is one of the finest LHWs the world has ever known and a good HW champion when Rocky fought him he wasn't the fighter he was 3-4 years earlier he gave Rocky plenty of problems if 1954 Marciano met 1949 Charles it would have been a different fight.
Moore again one of the LHW greats not a great HW he never was Patterson stopped him faster than Marciano doesn't that make patterson better than Rocky then? a few good HW wins and being a great LHW doesnt make a good argument on Rockys HW ranking no1 Brings up Alis win over Foster as an argument to prove how good of a HW he was but Moores really all the rocks got and Moore floored Marciano.
Joe Walcotts peak was from around 1945-51 he was the oldest man to hold the HW title until Foreman regained it in the 1990s a late bloomer yes he was but great at any stage in his career NO and he was on his way out when he came against Rocky!
What Lineal Champion would Rocky have beaten after his retirement? Possibly Patterson and Johansson thats it he came along at the perfect time

If you really belive all of that then there is nothing I can do to sway your opinion. The arguments have been done over a million times and we're going to just have to agree to disagree.
