Has Barrera retired?
I haven't heard he's retired but he hasn't got any fights lined up and hasn't fought for nearly two years

He hasn't said anything oficial, but he works as commentator for Box Azteca, and he looks quite in shape but not like ready to fight.

Last week they covered Brian Viloria's training camp for his clash with Hernan Marquez, where Barrera ran in the morning with Viloria and he barely ended the journey.

Barrera has nothing more to do in the sport except embarrassed him self by continuing on ....

I agree I wouldnt like to see him fighting again hes gave us some great fights over the years but hes not the man he used to be
