The Ghost fought well, he used the best tactic against a faster fighter. Something that might be used against Floyd, but most likely with less success.
Berto seems to have little infighting skills, and Guerrero proves he has very good chin even at Welter.

I expected Guerrero to beat Berto but I wasnt really thinking he'd do it that way.
There was alot of people calling him dirty in the stream I was watching, I really have no problem with what he did... Berto was initianing alot of that holding himself, and the cuts opened in the fight were legit. He wasnt headbutting as Ortiz was, neither punching low alot... That's just infighting and Berto only had the uppercut
Guerrero is a legit welterweight now it seems, he can box and get inside... Not quite Andre Ward, but he's good.

Guerrero fought very well and beat the hell out of Berto by doing what he needed to do.
He smothered Berto well while getting his own shots in and forced Berto to fight his fight. I also think Berto did not fight very smart. He should not have been looking to end it with 1 shot and he should not have continued to back up in a straight line. Had stepped to his left instead of his right, he would not have been walking into those left hands and he'd have been able to set up good counter opportunities.
Floyd would still make a fool out of Guerrero, Berto, Thurman, and in all honesty just about anyone other than Cotto and Martinez.
A Pac-Guerrero fight could be interesting depending on how much Pac has left. If Manny still has a lot left, he'd batter Robert. But if he is slipping as much as a lot of people say he is, it'd be a competitive fight.

I think Pac still has enough to hurt Guerrero.
I kind find it amusing that Berto's new Philly shell imitation didnt help him much.

the real question should be is what the **** is wrong with berto? ive never seen him fight like this...strange. guerrero has really gotten better in the past 3 to 4 yrs. berto on the other hand, seems to be lacking something. again, it was weird to see him fight in this manner.

He had no business trying that against a guy like Guerrero.

Well, Ortiz made him fight like that too... Only Robert was more emphatic
Berto has great HANDSPEED, but he's not nearly as quick on his feet...Which is the difference between him and guys like Manny, Floyd, Gamboa... Those guys can shift on their feet much faster... Andre cant. Nor is he well schooled enough
If he could use some movement he would've fared better against Robert.
On a sidenote, I think Alvarez might have a chance against Floyd... Better than his previous opponents at least...

He wasn't pulling it off right. Wasn't keeping a glove over his chin. It was a really stupid move that saw him being knocked down.
