Trout Beats Cotto
more impressively than Mayweather who has a similar style of fighting. How good is Trout?

The question should be how good is Mayweather? I said cotto was a cherry pick for Mayweather, a shot fighter but everyone had to disagree and paint Mayweathers win as a great victory lol
Cotto should hang them up. Mayweather will now fight Guerrero, a much smaller guy with 1 WW fight lol an easy cherry pick.

WHAT !! what fight where you watching ? yes Trout won but no way was it a blow out or even close to a Mayweather performance, he simply barely edged out Cotto with a softie azz jabs, and his height and reach..the guy kept his composure and that was half the fight in itself.

The fight was a lot closer than the judges scored it I think. Trout is like a Mix of Vernon Forrest and Winky Wright, I love his style personally but I know most Casual Fans WON'T. I think eventually he will be a top ten fighter pound for pound. If he keeps improving his style is going to be very difficult to deal with.

Trout is a good fighter- he did better than I thought he would. He definitely won the fight easily but it was a bit closer than 119-111. More like 8 rounds to 4 or 7 to 5. He looked huge compared to Cotto in the ring.
Trout doesn't seem to have the "killer instict" in him though. He stunned Cotto a couple of times but seemed unwilling to press his advantages. I dont know if he has any inside game either- he mostly tied up and defended on the inside.

I laughed when Canelo Hatton walked out of the arena. He wants no part of Trout.

he's not that similar to Mayweather... But he's a very good fighter too, and just proved it.
There are very good matchup awayting @ 154 for him... Even if that isnt Alvarez

I wasn't as impressed with Trout, HE BARELY edged out a worn out work horse in Cotto and needed all his physical attributes to it, I seriously doubt ,he'll go very far ...

Get out of here Canelo will do what a younger Cotto would have, he'll knock Crout TFO, the problem is that fight wont bring in big money ,unless Trout takes out a few more big names.
