What's next for Marquez?

Should he take another fight? Or retire?

If there were ever a high note to leave on this would definitely be it haha.

He'll likely go for big money, maybe a fight against Bradley or Guerro, or if he really hits the jackpot, a rematch with Mayweather.

Retiring on this note would be pretty awesome, though.

He will fight Pacquiao again and get a 50/50 split. That's his biggest money fight.

Will Pacquiao's camp agree to that though? What was the split this time around?
At this point it would seem to be the most profitable fight again.

A true fighter can never walk away on a good note, a fighter always has to realize it the hard way. But I REALLY HOPE he retires, but losing to Mayweather is expected, so it wouldn't hurt him in the least bit if he decides to take that fight. Pacquiao 5 would make him a lot of money.

Not that I care about belts, but he can be the first Mexican to get 5 divison titles, Bradley for the WBO Welterweight, Winner of Garcia/Judah with multiple titles on the line, or Brandon Rios which would be a block buster fight for the WBO title.

It would be great if marquez retired on this win, but as already posted great fighters hardly ever go out on a good note, they always stick around for money fights or looking to add to a legacy (which is usually already in the bag). But if marquez wants another fight i think it has to be against manny again. Its a huge payday for him and in all honesty its the only fight the masses want to see marquez in. Marquez floyd 2 would be a hard sell.

A JMM v PAC 5 makes no sence to me at all JMM was robbed at least twice before against pac and he scored a decisive KO over him lastnight doing it all over again doesn't interest me at all pac has now lost back to back fights and should have lost his previous fight before that against JMM, JMM has proved to the world that he is and was always the better of the two fighters... Personally I would like to see him fight twice next year then retire against bradley and Garcia something like that a 5th pac fight would def be ripping the ass out of it

Yes it would but unfortunately is not to be, simply cause at this point is when he commands the most he has ever made.....

Yes it is and Pacquiao will have no choice but to agree to the split if he wants to avenge his most embarrassing loss...

Marquez will not settle for anything less, according to him he has been dissed way too long and now is time to get pay back and collect big time..

And don't be surprised if the fight comes to happen in Mexico, now that the new president is a friend of JMM; he also dedicated the fight to him...
