Donaire is a beast at this weight. I say he will likely stop Mares (good scrap) and Rigondeaux (boring until Rigo gets tagged).

Wish I'd seen it! Was expecting a stoppage just not that early. I'll have to watch it sometime today.

Can't wait til Donaire cleans up the division and moves up.

Arce's fight with Wilfredo Vazquez Jr was his last great fight, and he knew it, because after that, he went through a way of shot (and almost unknown) fighters as Nongqayi, Angkotta, Parra, Jesus Rojas and even struggled to win in his last fight with Mauricio Martinez.

Arce was lookin for a last big payday, that's why the fight with Donaire wasn't made in October, which was the original date instead of Nishioka.

He lefts a quite good legacy though.

Love watching Donaire, but I really wasn't hyped for this fight at all, everyone knew he was going to blow Arce out. It was a good knockout, but against better opposition, I'll be more hyped over it.
