But if Cotto beats Margarito (in impressive fashion) he would become a PPV attraction and Floyd would consider fighting him.
Can I just comment on part of your post ( Floyd would CONSIDER fighting Cotto if he beats Margarito) ??? Its not a matter of him CONSIDERING it is it. If Floyd hopes to retain any credibility he now has he has GOT to defend his Ring welterweight title against the winner of Cotto/Margarito as soon as possible. Any action other than this and surely no boxing fan could support him any further. He claims he is the best fighter ever lets see him prove it and stop the money talk

It doesn't matter when it is/was signed. Damn, you just don't get it. You're one of those guys that think that what you want to happen is how boxing should work, and when it doesn't go your way you start whining. Also, Margarito-Cotto wasn't signed until a week ago or so, but we've known it was a done deal since Cotto-Gomez. Mayweather-DLH II has been a done deal since Mayweather-Hatton and was contingent on a DLH win over Forbes. Simple.

I was merely pointing out that should Floyd wish it he could still fight the Cotto/Margarito winner next. Please no not lose your temper over this Peace brother

Ok in being honest I ahve to say that honestly Floyd stunned Hatton with that left hook but Hatton knocked himself or actually the turn buckle knocked him out more than the punch
LMAO!
