I agree with yall on the Casa fight but SSM would have destroyed That P4P guy back then. He didnt duck him there was no reason to fight him especially when he had a fight with Oscar waiting in the wings.
Does anybody else see the irony in this statement?
DLH was considering as one of the P4P best back then, that fight made much more sense than fights with Judah/Mayweather. Mosley couldn't stay at 135 either, he was huge at that weight and reports were he was rehydrating to 160lbs come fight night. Floyd had only just grabbed the WBC belt at 130 when Mosley stepped up, so i don't think the fight would ever have been discussed seriously, obviously Mayweather may have called him out but he hadn't earned his shot yet.
like i said, based on all that i would've probably made the same decision mosley made. why waste time with a couple of decent paydays when you got a chance at a career-high payday that possibly dwarfs both the decent paydays combined? it's a no-brainer as far as i'm concerned.

This is dumb even talking about Mosley against pbf in those days, its even more laughable to make a claim that Mosley ducked him.
Fact is, like Tom stated, Mosley had left 135 two years before pbf even had a fight there.
135 Was Not An Issue, Anybody That Knows Floyd In His 135-140 Days Knows His Motto, "154 On Down You Bring Em And I'll Take Em" Which Meant He Was Willing To Go To 147. Mosley Ducked Him Twice Then, And Then Ducked Him Right Before The DLH Fight, Stating That His Wife Didnt Want Him To Fight Floyd. Then He Has The Nerve To Call Him Out Afterward, He Ducked Him There's No Way Around It.
Hatton landed a nice jab in round one as Mayweather pulled his head back. He also landed a nice right hand as Mayweather leaped in with a straight right to the body that took Mayweather's balance. I think I also remember him hitting Floyd in the 5th round against the ropes as they tussled on the inside. That was a nice short right hook that popped Mayweather's head back but did no real damage or anything really.
That's about it. Judging unbias I gave Hatton two rounds. Rounds 2 and 5. He didn't land as much as Mayweather those rounds but he pressed the action and I gave him the rounds as a curtousy for his ring generalship (sorta, in those rounds).
Hatton did get outclassed though. No doubt about it. I also scored round eight a 10-8 round.
I Dont Think You Can Classify That As A Meaningful Punch, Seeing That Its A Punch That Got Mayweather In Trouble Before With Zab, Which Lead To In Unofficial Knockdown. Also, If You Watch That Sequence It Was Ricky Who Took The Brunt Of The Damage, His Stance Was Perfectly Balanced And He Was Still Forced To Take A Step Back. But He Hit Floyd With A Quick Left Hook 30 Seconds Into The 3rd, A Solid Left Hook To The Body In The 5th, A Solid Left Hook Under The Elbow In The 1st And The Most Meaningful Was Probably A Short Left Hook In The 3rd(2:17-2:13) That Got B-Hop And Winky To Jump Out Of There Seats.
I Gave Ricky The 5th And The 5th Alone, Seeing That In All The Other Rounds Mayweather Countered Effectively, Except For In This Which It Seemed Mayweather Took Off. In The Second, Ricky Took Two Or Three Big Shots, A Check Left Hook That Got Him Off One Foot, And A Solid Right That Rocked His Head Back, And Didnt Produce Anything Significant In That Round Other Than Pressure. So It Was Hard For Me To Give Him That One.
As Soon As That Round Was Over I Screamed, "If Harold Doesnt Score That 10-8, Imma Whoop His Ass"
135 Was Not An Issue, Anybody That Knows Floyd In His 135-140 Days Knows His Motto, "154 On Down You Bring Em And I'll Take Em" Which Meant He Was Willing To Go To 147. Bull.
After Baldomir pbf only had eyes for Oscar, he would never have fought anyone with that fight looming. Dunno where you get your facts from.
Before that (when you claim he ducked him before) pbf was fighting at 130, Mosley was at 147, do i need go on?
You think calling a fighter out means the guy being called out must be ducking, i guess pbf ducked Margarito then after all.
