Wouldn't have made more sense to fight Margarito? It was only the fight everyone was talking about at the time. Better legacy fight and $$$$ fight!
What I embolded are incorrect statments. He made more money fighting Baldomir than what was offered to him for Margarito and he won the Ring Title from Baldomir.

After PPV. He was only paid 4.5m up front for that fight. He'd have dwarfed the 11m he made fighting Margarito. Now, whats your excuse for fighting Zab, a fight he made less than 4m in when there was an 8m offer on the table?
He would have to fight Baldomir sometime anyways, he just picked the safest path, a path that combined: -almost as much money he wouldve made with margy. - Easier opposition, with the opportunity to look really impressive and set up a fight with Oscar DLH.
Has anybody ever let Floyd innitiate the fighting? I see everyone coming forward on him but has anyone ever just stood back and let Mayweather bring the fight to them?

Sharmba did, he was old and past it though. Gatti tried to box him.
I like Floyd when he lets his hands go, he's a very good offensive fighter.

Gatti and Bruseles.
