The fight wont be at 140 though, it'll be at 147.

Yeah, what Im talking about is pretty common which is why rematches are usually won by the winner of the first fight. Usually, Not always! Ricky Hatton was seriously outgunned that night then served straight into the turn buckle. He was getting picked apart tryinng to come in and then when he did get in, he was beaten on the inside as well.
Hatton will do less in the rematch. He's going to be afaid of getting hit with that straight right, check hook, or w/e. Mark my words.

I'll let Lance answer this one for me.

Personally if I was Mayweather I'd be dead keen to fight at 140 and prove the 7 pouns made no difference.

Honestly, I'd love to see him go back down to 140lbs and take Hatton as his tune up fight (honestly). Dominate that division and retire undefeated, undisputed champion at his most comfortable weight. It's not going to happen though. He's most likely going to beat De La Hoya, beat Hatton, beat Cotto, then who knows?

Yep, and he has a right to. Mayweather calls the shots from here on out.

He needs to take care of business at 140, and stop ducking Junior Witter.
It would be the biggest fight in UK history, Witters the number one contender.
MM ducks oppenents because thee moneys not right, if Cotto would make him more money than a pointless De la Hoya rematch, He would take it.
What Hattons excuse for not fighting Witter?
Instead hes positioning himself for a match with talented but soft
hitting Paulie Malinagee.

Great post! Exactly my sentiments.
