I still think he has the boxing skills, although his reflexes have to have lost a step or two considering he's been in over 70 fights and is fast approaching 40 years of age. It's all predicated on his mobility and obviously, as he's let his body go, the extra weight has made him more of a sitting target. He looked back to 2003-2004 form in the video I recently saw of him, so I'm hoping he can turn back the clock at least for one more night. Another big problem is his middleweight and even light heavyweight power never translated all that well to the super heavyweights like a Rahman or Sam Peter. He can definitely stand in there and take a punch himself and aside from his last fight with Peter, I've never really seen him badly hurt, which is an incredible thing for a guy with that many (championship)rounds under his belt.

I still think Haye is too fast and powerful for him at Heavyweight

Probably so, but I am hoping that he isn't. I don't want to see Toney go out like that. I'm cool with Haye, so I hope big things happen for him, but not at the expense of one of the greatest fighters of our time and one of my personal favorites. I'd rather see Haye make his mark against someone else. I've never been a fan of the Macho Camacho school of guys making careers out of retiring faded former champs and all-time greats.
haye may be to fast and strong for anyone at heavyweight.
With the current crop of big men, that's not much of a stretch. I'll go out on a limb, though, and say he loses one of his next three heavyweight fights.
