Well you do have to Bulk up to fight the supers. It takes a Byrd type of fighter to beat these guys speed and I mean real speed. Haye will be a good fighter but he hasn't fought anyone to say he will be able to beat Vlad or any other top Heavy let him get his shoes wet then we will see what he does. We don't know about his chin or his power as a HW since he has one fight under his belt. Man I love how people jump on a bandwagon over a guy who really didn't fight anyone at his previous weight and moved up because there was no one else to fight there. The guy will be a top 10 fighter but a champion and of course the dominant champion I don't think so. Megarodon maybe not a king in boxing but he will soon be a thre time HW Champion of the world. Sounds alright to me.

I say he will lose some speed get hurt by HW punches and his power will lessen in the HW division. I know my boxing I just happen to be a die hard Vitali fan and can't wait for his return. Dude I have know Idea who you are our what you know but I have been in the ring and don't just have to talk about it I lived it. I know what you talk about the same ole stuff. I'm sorry not a big fan of the smaller fighters grew up with Heavys and have always enjoyed watching them more. Here is the truth until there is a dominant American HW champion boxing will keep taking a back seat to the UFC. I know there are big fights but no one has had the fans on the edge of their seats like Ali and Tyson. True fans will watch any fight and I usually will but what boxing needs is a dominant HW champ and it will bring back the greatness of te sport as a whole. I like Vlad but he will never be dominant because of his chin that is a given. Let me tell you the reason I'm a huge Vitali fan I followed his career for years finally got to see him fight in person at MSG agaisnt Kirk Johnson. I know Johnson came in overweight but Vitali dominated him and the fans went crazy for Vitali something I hadn't seen in person since the 80's Tyson. Then I went to see him fight Sanders for the belt and again the same feeling that we were seeing something special and wanted to see more. I know the problems he has had with training camps and getting hurt believe me every one has p*ssed me off. I guess down deep I want to see greatness and if he can stay healthy I believe he can be domiant again. So go ahead have your jokes i'm fine with that but if you haven't been in the ring you really don't know what damage your body takes over several fights. All I have to say is Go Vitali!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I think those are valid concerns.

But the thing is, you don't have to bulk up against the super heavies. It's been proven time and time again. Dempsey against Willard, Max Baer against Carnera, Louis against Buddy Baer, Holmes against Cooney, Holyfield against Bowe (although Holyfield isn't as great or good as the others mentioned). Those were just some of the well known ones I've mentioned.

ps. i dunno where you get your facts about haye from.

i am concerned for hayes chin and stamina. that's all. not his size

YouTube - Haye and Klitschko head-to-head
Exactly. And he looked good.

The main reason the big guys are in control right now is because there is very little talent, and the talent is a bunch of older fighters well past their prime. The heavyweights today consist of body builders and fat slobs. The heavyweights of 25 years ago and back were the last of the great generation. Their main problem was the drugs. BUT they were still very good even with the drugs. When the guys like Witherspoon, Page, Thomas, Dokes, and Berbick weren't all screwed up from the drugs, they were very good fighters. Now the problem in the heavyweights are the lack of toughness, talent, conditioning, and commitment. Fighters used to go into fights sick, with ditached retinas, cuts, broken hands, and on 2 days notice. The heavyweight division is what is ruining boxing today...along with 17 weightclasses and who knows how many champions.

I think Haye is possibly naturally bigger than klitschko. Both vitali and wlad used to be very skinny.
