I'm excited about this fight. As a fan of Hop I enjoy all of his fights. His one versus Calzaghe was the only one I didn't enjoy because of the hyperactive theroid issues that really showed during the latter rounds for Hopkins.
But I enjoy all of his fights, versus Winky, Tarver, Taylor I & II (both of which HOPKINS SHOULD HAVE WON!), and of course all fights prior against DLH, Council, Trinidad (favourite fight of all time), Hakkar, Lipsey etc.. just love watching Hopkins.
Also really like watching Pavlik and they are two of my favourite boxers so it should be a good bout.
Yeah I agree, as a Hopkins fan I beleive that this fight will be exciting. And the BHop-Tito was a easily a classic.

I think Hopkins will make the fight alot less entertaining than any other Pavlik fight, he will make Kelly look bad but lose out because of his lack of workrate. He can't fight 12 rounds at anywhere near decent pace, and Pavlik is just about the worst guy he could be fighting with this in mind. He'll lose a decision IMO.

I do, sorta. according to boxrec Lopez has now been scratched from the card. that sucks badly. they've added 17-0 WBO NABO champ bantamweight Abner Mares. Steven Luevano will be defending his WBO belt against 21-0 Billy Dib. Marco Antonia Rubio will be fighting 28-4 Enrigue Ornelas. this is all that is listed right now. was looking forward to seeing Lopez.
I believe Conception is going to fight Giovanni Caro on 9/27. pretty sure Dib is gonna get the title shot.
