Look, I said yes...but I want your thoughts. If we dont get decent support, or commitment from a good many of you about being realitively active in such a forum, I wont do it.
Any one mod doesnt have the time. I agree. But, several mods, communicating as to where the threads are and who can volunteer at that moment? Different story.

Out of all 19 seperate sections they have over there, it is the 4th least active section. And were talking things like arcade talk and boxingscene vip.
If what Tommy says is true and the British Boxing Forum provided us with tons of new members I'm all for bringing it or a global forum back. I just saw it as a waste of space and clutter, and so did the other 10 who voted accordingly.
Not exactly true. If a forum is here, yes, guests will browse it, I will give you that; however, if no one posts in it, or the forum appears slow...guests will just browse.
Yes, that is what mods should do.
I think such a forum would do well, in time.
I get your point Roger but some of those guests are here because of it. They register though and notice posting is mainly done in general.
If a few members start to put there threads in there and mods do a bit of moving then it would easily work.
The Hatton and Graham thread got a lot of action, thats a prime example of a BB thread.
Better to have it there bringing in members than not being there and not as many joining.
It seems like the staff have no intrest in making it work though. Some have said they wont even bother looking in it.

I dont, I think the british section proved that.
But how many threads were moved the british forum. Think and be honest, how many were being moved?
I bet, I can go into general boxing right now and find a significant number of threads about just Euro boxers, Aussie boxers, and British boxers! Could it be it is just easier to talk about boxers in one general forum? Nothing wrong with that.
However, boxing fans outside of Amercia have no idea we may be posting about their favorite fighters. A forum just for boxers outside of America could make that easier for them.
Then again, if the support is not there for now? It wont be added. We may not be big enough to have a global boxing forum.

I'm talking as a member too Roger. I'd rather just stay in one thread and talk. If they want to make thread about foreign fighteres, let them. It's all boxing to me.
ITs a good idea, but I'm not sure there are enough member to keep it alive.. Here in Brazil particulaty theres nothing going on on boxing and nothing to talk about, I wouldnt be able to help much.
Other than Youtube, I have no other sources to non-american mainstream boxing. I'm sure there are good japanese fighters but i'm quite anaware of what goes on in there, same thing in the philipines because boxing is popular there

I didnt move a one because for the longest time I had on idea it existed. However most my favorite fighters are american. I like 2 uk fighters. and I will talk about them in the general boxing area. Because it's included in that time. I think your missing the true argument. And I doubt many users really have a problem with this. I will however refrain from takling about it because of its nature.
