I dont have anything against this fight. Obviously he doesnt want that much of a risk ( a guy like Margarito) or should I say, a guy with power. He's a smart man, he wants to make money, says hes in for a rumble but he doesnt wanna get hurt. Also, he's obviously planning to retire with a win.
Oscar has done what he had to, and if this is his last fight, let it be. Mora is about his size (even bigger), will have 2 wins over forest and rrecognized 154 champion, also, hes a marketable name.

Your assuming he will beat Forrest again which is highly doudtfull, and what marketable name are you talking about? the first time I heard of the guy was when he fought Forrest, what did he do before that, the Contender I never watch it....

Mora is going to make it a boring fight. From a watching fighting excitment stand point Pacquiao would be a much better fight, but I don't want to see Pac get ruined with the beat down he'll likely take.
I would rather see Pacquiao-Soto, Pacquiao-Hatton, etc. with a mentally and physically stable Pacquiao. And I would rather see Oscar pass the torch on a loss so he can leave the sport in good hands for boxing, Mora is not the one. The welter division is full of guys that can take that torch Margarito, Cotto, Williams, Berto, maybe even Kirkland.
Disappointing matchup. He would make more money against Margarito. Wait for Arum to release the numbers for Cotto/Margarito and negociate with Oscar. Margarito will take 70/30 in a heartbeat.

You throw in Shane Mosley x2, Pernell Whitaker, Ricardo Mayorga, Oba Carr, Genaro Hernandez, Rafael Ruelas, Felix Strum and countless other tough opponents. And you see the reason I got Oscar some slack now that's he's at the end of his career. He's earned the right to retire on his own terms. Do I agree with his recent activities? No. But like I said, he's earned it

i couldn't agree more, hes been in the ring with nearly everyone worth mentioning in their respected divisions, he deserves to go out with an easy fight, but knowing oscar he won't fight sergio mora, it will be another twisting sstoryline and i think a showdown with margaritro could still happen
