I think this thread is stupid what are we suppose to assume alcaeda has'nt blown up the planet by then ....

I agree. Calzaghe hasn't got much left at all IMO, he has zero power these days and his speed/stamina/reflexes will get worse every fight now. JMM only has another 18 months or so left at the top as well IMO.

I would add Gamboa too. Your right Matty, Pavlik's name crossed my mind but in 5 years im not sure he'll still be at the top. Most people are underrating him at the moment and alot seem to favour AA to beat him, if that fight comes off i think Kelly takes a close one.

Yea the only reason I put him on this list is he is still pretty young and still building up his skill. I think in 5 years he will have it down. I agree he takes a close one over AA.

I haven't written him off at all, I just think that he will no longer be fighting in five year's time. I think he fights 8-10 more times and calls it a day.

I don't think PW will ever go past 168. Any heavier than that and he loses his natural advantages, his height and his reach. Frankly, I don't want to see him go any higher than 160. I still hope he goes back down to 147 and cleans house.

I think it's impossible to say because five years ago, very few new for example Kelly Pavlik and look now, he just shot onto the scene all in the space of about a year. I've got hopes that we'll see about three or four new talents coming in five years that will just shake up boxing.
