Ok, well, I'm not sure really what to say to limit this post's size. It is a year in review starting from the time I first created this thread 1 year ago today (August 17th). To be honest, I've only been thinking about what's happened in any detail today, so, it isn't going to be great, but oh well.
I will start off by saying that quite a few major things took place during the year. The first of them was the hall of fame. I thought of it around the time I first created this thread, and the staff and I were talking about it. We were going over different things such as what will make the hall of fame special, and how often it would be held. CaptainObvious then compiled all of our ideas and made it into what the hall of fame is now. The first hall of fame election took place at the end of August, and was for who would be inducted in January. We decided to induct 3 people to kick it off, then after that to limit it to just one person. The first 3 people elected were Tommygunn, Lance (TysonJones), and Shane (at the time Prettyboyfloyd but now switched to Sugar Shane). It turned out that all 3 of them created an alt to vote for themselves, but I didn't care much. Obviously the hall of fames numbers have grown since then.
Moving on to our next topic, the new year: 2008. It got to a very rocky start. Without any discussion with the staff, Lance and Steve (CaptainObvious) were booted from their mod positions. It was only January so I figured we had a rough year ahead of us. Shane was already a Supermod by this point, and he was removed from his staff position aswell but he was put back to his spot after 3 days. The next 3 months were full of nothing but tension. In April one day I came on only to see that I was removed from my position in the staff. It confused me, and annoyed me. I was going through a period where I couldn't post much, but I had already explained why to the staff and I was told it was ok and not to worry. Sure enough I was removed anyway. The site was still going through a very rough period and I was no longer part of the staff so I was pretty much useless to help when I could get time to come onto the site. In June I was reinstated as a mod, and saw that Bucknuts and Icantbox had also become mods. Icantbox was soon added. By July all of the old team was back, and the three new additions were great. Shane was moved up in the staff chain to admin, and Lance was recently moved up to supermod.
Just a few of our more noteable members that joined between these times were: Kozie, Megarodan, Violent Demise, Sweet Sugar, Kozie, BrooklynRican, Rayman, NFFC, and ulster86. There are many more but those are just the first that came to mind.
Well, that's just about all I've got. I'm not going to go into too much detail about Tommygunn and his removal as admin and him getting banned so often.
Clearing 2 things up:
1. I created the alt after realizing that everyone else had voted for themselves. I figured that wasn't appropriate, so I made up for it.
2. All of the stripping of mods took place under a different administration that what we have now.
You guys are still talking about alts.

BTW every time I see the LA stamp I think of VD and 5 computers in his house running from room to room. LOL

Yeah I know, I was just joking about the first one, because I was the only guy who didn't make an alt. But I didn't want to really go into any details on the other "admininistration" (administrator) because I don't think it's right to talk a ton of smack when I'm simply summing up a year.
