Romney Lacy'd Obama. Upset of the year most didn't expect?

What a shock, what a huge upset. What a shocking beatdown, no one expected this. Even MSNBC gave Romney his props!

I got very bored after the first half hour. Romney reminds me of Fred Willard.

The Big O can't get around the fact that the economy's sucked for four years and the Republicans have not cooperated with much of what he's wanted to do.

Romney can't get around the fact that he's a rich disgusting tool of the oil companies and BAIN and every corrupt old white fat-cat cartel of slimy landlords, venture capitalists, corrupt bankers and Wall Street weasels.
His bell-clanging over things like cutting funding to PBS (which appeals to ignorant people) disguises his, and Ryan's demonic plans to do everything possible to keep guns in the hands of maniacs, deny women birth control, and rape the environment till it's totally fracked.

As for who won the debate, that means about as much as the Yankees taking the AL East tonight. It's still a long, long way to the World Series, and there will be more debates between these two clowns. A lot of these problems are not easy to fix (the economy sucks all around the world) so in a way you just have to think of who is a better figurehead...an oily crooked white mannequin who is part of the 1% and his Stepford Wife and his five lookalike crash car dummy sons, or a cool dude who doesn't have a key in his back and country club cronies happy to make sure the rich get richer.

Bill Maher says Romney won...that's good enough for me. Round #1 to Romney. But you might remember that Rahman KO'd Lennox Lewis once. Who do we remember as a real champ? Romney may have gotten lucky...he was well coached. Somebody put a few extra memory chips in the back of that wooden head of his. He memorized a few zingers, which isn't difficult in programming a soulless robot.

Who cares when you got Obama buying votes with cell phones, amnesty, and busing uninformed voters to the booths to vote just over skin color?

Yeah, that's real "Best Buy" stuff isn't it?

Who made $12 million last year and paid only 14% taxes? Romney. And you think he and the others in the 1% are going to "trickle down" a few pennies to you? It didn't happen when DUBYA and his corporate cronies ran the country into debt (after Clinton balanced the budget).

Romney's big plan is to shut down funding to ballet dancers on PBS? That'll lower your taxes?

The real problem is the Republicans effectively shut down most of what Obama wants to do, whereas Clinton had less Republicans, and less racists, to sabotage him. So this is football? Obama's blocked, and you give the other team the ball? To do what? Start a few more wars, frack the environment, pass laws to enslave women to a house full of babies, and make it ok to deny rights to gays and minorities? And to make sure everyone can have an assault rifle?

No, I don't appreciate welfare abuse. I don't like to see TV ads where lazy fools are encouraged to get their free cell phones. I'm not always happy with the Liberal-Democrat world, and the ACLU being concerned for the rights of criminals, or not frying murderers without giving them ten or twenty years of appeals. Mark Chapman should be dead. Among many others.

Simple aspects of daily life are totally ridiculous thanks to Democratic thinking. For instance, having homeless ranting psychos and panhandlers in my way and being told it's "freedom of speech." Just the other day, a city official from sanitation told me me, "I can't cut the chain on a homeless man's smelly shopping cart, because it's his belongings, even if it's chained to public property and blocking people from walking the sidewalk, or parking a car." Idiocy. But that's the small stuff. The large stuff is:

Mitt Romney's Real Agenda | Politics News | Rolling Stone

Yes, we can get mad at free cell phones. But the stuff in this article? Eh. Too boring.

Odd. Whatever your job is, you probably have a white Republican at the helm, and even if he pays himself a million and you get minimum wage, you accept it. You feel secure. The governor. The cop. The bureaucrat. The Wall Street guy. All of them are better than you, and you better let them run things, and so what if they take it all. They deserve it. They have the front row boxing seats, and you go to the nosebleed section or squint at a bootleg streaming video. Yep, you pay for your cell phone and don't have the money to get those front row tickets to the boxing match, but that's ok, as long as some welfare slob doesn't get a free cell phone.

It comes down to a quote from a guy nobody remembers:

"Liberals feel unworthy of their possessions. Conservatives feel they deserve everything they've stolen."
MORT SAHL

Problem with this is you assume people on the democratic side are selfless and not interested in self-gain. Both parties are cut from the same cloth. Ya Romney is your stereotypical rich guy but Obama isn't a poor community college grad either. Obama's wife has done more to show off how rich they are more than any other presidents wife has in recent memory. The Clinton's were not middle class Americans and have been involved in as many shady business deals as any republican, including pardoning people for money. You honestly think Obama and his crew want to lower their standard of life? Do you really think republicans and democrats are any different than Chevy and Pontiac?

What I'd like to see is a good hybrid. One that would run on electricity. That's for a car.

For a politician, someone who doesn't make bloody deals with the Middle East or destroy land and wildlife.

Now take a look at your own job. Your office. Your store. Or your school if you're still in it.

Whatever you've learned about favoritism, backstabbing, tattle-tales, finks, brown-nosers, nepotistic hirings and totally unjustified firings...raise it about 10,000 percent when it comes to politics and elected officials.

Two co-workers can double-cross each other over who handles the fries at MacDonalds. So imagine what happens when your job involves awarding contracts or passing laws!

No wonder most of our elected officials are lousy, from either party. They make deals and lie about most everything. Part of it is how the game is played, and only the super-rich (like Mike Bloomberg) can get in and win and not compromise their ideals. Much. Even so, you've got to "play ball" and compromise and look the other way. I'm surprised any time a decent law gets passed, because these creeps are so "you rub my back or else..." that they often won't pass a perfectly good bit of legislation that harms nobody and helps everyone...because it makes the person who proposed it look too good.

I think some of the better politicians have been liberal Republicans...or conservative Democrats who ended up switching parties just to be able to run. Giuliani. Bloomberg. Lincoln was a good Republican. Roosevelt a good Democrat. I'm sure you could also Whig out, if you checked back far enough.

A lot of what conservatives believe is pretty good. A lot of what liberals believe, tries my patience. For example, I'm for the death penalty. We just have too many people in this country, and to waste sympathy and money over Berkowitz, Chapman, or Manson is ridiculous. Laughner? That Joker jerk in Colorado? Aw, too bad you didn't take your meds. Now...DIE. Unless you can do some really good experiments to find out how to fix brains that boiled...FRY 'EM. To avoid whimpering over the "innocent man," just fry the losers who have long criminal records and the ones who were caught on camera or in the act. That's a start.

Reagan seemed to do some good things, as did Clinton. People can and should cross party lines from time to time. Seems to me that the only way the Republicans and Democrats work together...is to keep a third party from forming. Which is pretty remarkable, considering how the WBA and WBC couldn't stop the smelly WBO from becoming popular, and then the IBF...and on and on and on.

Anyone who can look at the past four years and think Obama did a wonderful job needs a new prescription at Lenscrafters. But you'd have to really have the blinders on to think that Romney would be an improvement. If they weren't both too old at this point, I would've had less misgivings about McCain or Giuliani. At least those two guys are human beings, not a robot.

On at least four occasions, MSNBC's Chris Matthews mocked Sarah Palin
for how he felt she'd do if she were ever on the hit television game
show Jeopardy!.

In a delicious example of instant karma, the self-proclaimed brainiac
got his chance to show America how smart he was in a special "Power
Players" version of the show Monday, but came up quite short finishing
dead last with the paltry sum of only $2,300.

I mostly side with repubs because of conservative ideals except **** like gay marriage and certain kinds of abortion. Now that the country is getting more fucked though I find myself leaning away because I think its better that the rich few have to live in non 80,000 sq feet homes instead of getting to drive a Ferrari around while everyone else is in a card board box. Problem is the whole government is part of that rich elite or else panders to it. Salary caps were good in sports maybe they would work every where. Then **** like this: Factory worker with dangerous job- $12 an hour, CEO 24 million a year, 5 million in bonuses, company credit cards without limit...ect: from happening. I don't believe in communism but this system where the few get everything is obviously just as bad.

Who cares? Romney could win the next two and he would still lose the election I watched only half of the debate and I already caught Romney in multiple lies He goes and rejects Obama's ideas and then VAGUELY rebuttals on what he would do if he was president. He says he's not going to give the rich tax cuts when just last week he said otherwise...he overestimated Obama's expenditures on Green Energy, the same expenditures that his boy Ryan was snatching the greens from....oh yeah Massachusetts is #1 in the nation in education? Wrong again, Maryland for the PAST 4 YEARS has been the nation's top state in education. Exaggerations on top of lies on top of lies.

Not only did he repeatedly lie, he ducked every key question he couldn't answer...so where is the money going to come from if you're not going to increase the taxes of the wealthy? You think the government is going to fill the void? No it's going to come straight out of the middle class...and that's why Romney couldn't answer the question because he would've shot his own self in the foot again with another lie. Romney can keep winning the debates...that's not going to change many people's opinion about Romney...a big money shark who lies his way to the top...
