I don't hate Kameda but I'm not a big fan of his style. The only good fighter he faced exposed him but he got the hometown decision. He'll never fight in the states IMO but he challenged Daisuke Naito and he's gonna get beat.

I don't know why people hold the Landaeta fight against him. He was 19 years old. 19 year olds struggle. He took his opponent lightly and paid for it. It was a learning experience. He proved that when he immediately rematch Landaeta and beat him without much problems. How many young fighters do that? I like Naito. But his style is made for Kameda. And I think we will see him in the US. He ain't in Mexico for the sights. It's the first step.

Naito just beat Kameda's brother who has the exact same basic style (walks in with his gloves up and throws hooks) in a landslide. He would dominate Koki easily.

Daiki Kameda was in over his head against Naito. It was only his 11th pro fight. He wasn't ready. He admitted that himself. Koki is ready. He's entering his prime. The free swinging Nsito is exiting his. Kameda would take him apart if they fight. I don't care how many bias clips you show. Nothing will change my mind. Kameda is for real.

Do you really think Kameda beat Landaeta the 1st time? I'm not saying it wasn't a competitive fight but Kameda didn't win more than 5 rounds. Add the knockdown and there's no way Kameda won it (not to mention he was holding on for dear life in the late rounds).
If Koki fights Naito we're gonna have to bet some real money on this.

I actually scored the fight a draw. But a case for Landaeta winning is there. And I do think Kameda might of benefited a little from being the home fighter. But I don't consider it a robbery. It was a very close fight. Kameda did right by Landaeta and gave him a rematch. When he didn't have too. And he beat him without controversy. We agree on that, right?
