Of course you can't blame Duran... look at all the money he made on that fight

Hearns vs Roberto at Roberto's real weight division.. Well let's just say the Hitman would have been seeing stars.

it was impossible for them to fight anywhere below 147, hearns standing at 6ft1 had to starve himself just about to get there, but i do think duran is the best fighter p4p at 135.

I was only making the point that it is silly to place any type of importance on that fight where Duran is concerned. That wasn't his natural fighting weight.

Back to the best chins discussion, I was thinking Hagler could take a good shot, same with Frazier.

There were a lot of guys that could take a punch.

But as for Rocky Marciano he was a rare breed. He didn't seem to care how hard they hit him. He just keep going forward and he never backed off. I think it may have even given him goose bumps.

Well, if your talking about those guys out there today, maybe. I can think of a lot fighters that were puncher or sluggers and brawlers who had great stamina and just to name two Jake LaMotta and Rocky Marciano. Most especially Marcino did. He may well have had more stamina than any heavyweight fighter to have ever stepped in a ring.
