Has Thomas Hearns got anything left for us!
From what I understand... he is not retired... and he is still boxing! He hasn't won a World Championship ever since he lost on of his Light-Heavyweight Crowns to Iran "The Blade" Barkley in 1992... he is in his late 40s... and showing no signs of retiring! I don't know what weight division he is in... so what's up with him? Does he still get any attention? Does he still fight in the big leagues? Is he in Championship contention at all whatsoever? What is he doing? What do you think he should do? One more thing... Thomas Hearns is a LEGEND!!!

Hearns should retire, he isn't sounding so good, he is not a contender anyomre, and he isn't the hitter he used to be.

I always thought he was better than Sugar Ray Leonard! Not as good an athlete or as quick! Just better!

Hearns hit harder, other than that Leonard was better.

i think now its more for the love of the sport than anything else with hearns, he fights guy's mostly off the club circuit, i dont see why he hould retire if he still enjoys to box, its not like he's being ko every time he get's in the ring or he's taking punishment.

Hearns may think he has something left, but IMO, he should consider retiring before he gets hurt physically. He has an expressive record... winning six world titles, and was known to be one of the most ferocious punchers. And, without a doubt, he will be inducted into the IBHOF.

I doubt he'll ever be a champ again.. If he wants to add to his loss number I suggest he not retire.

no a fighter should make his own mind up when his time is through, as ive said he's fighting on the club circuit not the world stage where he is to good for these guy's. as a fighter myself i would never say when another should hang them up and find it fcucking rediculous when somebody who aint even been in a ring say's a fighters time is up.

Hi Tommy,
I know that there is a suggested "Father Time" setup for boxers, but that's not written in stone that you must retire. But, do you feel it's safe for fighters near 50 years of age to enter the ring with some of the younger fighters in their division?
