Question Why was Duran simply no match for Hearns!

YouTube - Hearns VS Duran

I've watched this fight over and over again... in my opinion Duran would've been physically stronger. He was a lot shorter but weighed around the same and was all muscle... the fight should've been very even and close... WHAT WE GOT WAS A 2 ROUND BLOWOUT!

Both men were 2 of my all-time favorite fighters and despite losing to Sugar Ray Leonard... I still put them both above Sugar Ray Leoanrd. What happened in this fight? Was Duran too old and over the hill? Was Hearns right in the middle of his absolute prime? Did Duran not train as hard and couldn't adapt to the heat or something like that? Was Hearns too fast? Do you want to know what's scary though... Thomas Hearns predicted that he'd knockout Roberto Duran in 2 Rounds!!!

Simple my friend simple! Hearns had a huge reach advantage, a slight power advantage, and was fighting at his natural weight, Duran was 1 and half above his.

Well yeah... okay... it's just that the fight made Duran look really, really, really weak when he is anything but! It could've... should've... would've (???) been a whole lot closer!!!
