I voted for Ali because he had incredibly fast hands for a heavyweight, Patterson and Holmes wer prety close though. Tyson was on the list because he had incredibly fast combo's to be rivaled with Ali Holmes and Patterson. If you have anyone else that you think was really fast, please post about them. (they must be heavyweight though)

This would depend on if your looking for hand speed or foot speed or both. If it's both, it would be Ali, if it's just hand speed, Patterson had the fastest hands, if it's foot speed, Ali would come out on top.

I am going with both hand speed and footwork, so I am going to vote for Ali. Ali had fast hands and footwalk and his combination punches and jabs were the fastest of any Heavyweight in history.

PS- I would also put in Tunney

Only with combos, other than that he was average.

I could care less that he beat an old, rusty Holmes, I don't like his dirty fighting, and his lack of respect to everyone. Tyson had a slow jab and right, but he had great hook and uppercut combo's. By the way he is barely not in my top 10 heavy weights, he is like 11 or 12.

I voted for Ali, for me he had great hand speed and foot work.Toward the end of his career he still had above average hand speed,(his jab).

Ken Norton

I always thought that he was the only heavyweight that was faster than Muhammad Ali.

Norton was slower than Ali, Norton had a very awkward style...
