What do you think is more vital for a great fighter to have?
If a fighter has a ton of heart, but a glass jaw, he will likely be dropped many times, but you could always count on him to try and get up, even if he is badly hurt.
If a fighter has a solid chin, but not much heart, he will be hard to drop, but if he does get dropped, he might not be 100% in the fight anymore and would be in there to survive more than fight.
Which do you think is more important?

I think heart too. If you don't have heart, then the chances are you'll lose a lot of close fights that you're involved in and not fulfill your potential. With a bad chin, you can at least use your defense to make sure you don't get dropped that much and your heart to make sure you always get up.
Heart, but if you have a china chin it doesn't matter how much heart you got, your not going to get up if your cracked on the chin.
Tito went down quite often in his career and some even started to call his chin 'china' but he had terrific heart and would get up each and everytime. Even when B-Hop sent him down he got back up.
But you're right, both are as important as the other.

My first instinct was chin. I think you can have a longer career since fights are stopped more quickly nowadays. If your getting decked allot it won't be long before your heart gives out.
I don't think heart was a problem for Tyson. The Lewis fight proved to me he had a lot of heart.
As for heart/chin. Hard to say. I can't think of anyone with a great chin and no heart, regardless of how good they are. It's hard for me to say a fighter had no heart. Takes a lot of heart just to take a beating. Personally I don't think a fighter can ever become elite without heart. People with no heart quit boxing the first time they get their ass beat up, which is likely to happen before they ever turn pro. So seeing how people with no heart don't stick around, that's clearly got to be it.
Heart gets confused a lot with mental toughness in my opinion.
