Silly list!!! Roberto Duran should be at number one. He set outright records that none of the other 10 ten boxers could equal, let alone surpass. He set lightweight records, his welterweight win is the greatest win any boxer ever pulled off. Not only that, it is the greatest display of genius and machismo ever seen. He is the only lightweight in history to win the middleweight crown and the win is yet another display of genius. The quality and technicality of the Barkley knockdown will never be matched. Duran's variety of knockouts will not be matched either.

Duran would simply smash such a plodding boxer like Armstrong. I love how Armstrong defended himself with his head held low. Duran would uppercut the fukk out of him!! No contest.

Also, Pacquiao is a drugs cheater. He shouldn't be on the list. What a fraud!

This what a real champion looks like

This is what a literally invincible fighter looks like. Absolutely frightening!

Duran should not be #1 Marlon and the list is solid, but I'd move Pacquiao further down. If you ask me he hasn't done enough to really be that high up.

What do you know about Duran? Also, how laughable that you have Whitaker as your banner. See how he is going backwards avoiding the punches. Big deal, anyone can do that. Duran would've slipped the first punch and countered straight away. That's the difference between someone average like Whitaker and a genius like Duran. Whitaker looks like a fag running away, but hey, you think that's (lol) great! Another thing, Whitaker lost to (lol) De la Hoya because he would'nt fight! Another fag performance that you probably love. That's a worse way to lose than quitting. Duran wanted to fight Whitaker didn't!!

You seem to forget that Whitaker landed more punches on Oscar De La Hoya than anybody had by that point in his career. Not only that, but only Shane Mosley & Floyd Mayweather have landed more shots on DLH. So much for running away and not fighting, huh?

I don't doubt that Duran was a great fighter, you'd be mad to say otherwise. He's a top 15 ATG, but he's not the greatest of all time. I see you're one of the fans who don't appreciate the sweet science of boxing. The lateral movement, counter punching, the elusiveness of guys like Whitaker who box beautifully for 12 rounds pitching near shut-outs on a regular basis.

If you're a boxing fan, you'll appreciate more than just one style of fighter and respect guys like Whitaker. I respect warriors like Gatti & Ward but I also like and respect fighters who hit and don't get hit like Bernard Hopkins & Pernell Whitaker. If everybody fought in the same come forward style then the sport wouldn't be such an intriguing sport.

The list definitely looks solid at first glance. I dont see alot of absurdities but I must say I dont think I really have the knowledge to compile a list like that. I certainly know the top50 but that alone would be a tough task to ponderate. making a top200 would be insane.

Carlos Monzon is a fraud

I have never seen a more fraudulent champion than Carlos Monzon (with the possible exception of Primo Canera). His second fight with nino benvenuti was stopped by a ref when nino slipped. Throughout his career, monzon was protected by the powers that be in boxing. he ducked Marvin Hagler throughout his career. To list monzon as a great champion is an abomination.

If this is a p4p list the following fighters are rated too low (among others):

Philadelphia Jack O'Brien
Young Stribling
Lew Tendler
Tommy Burns

You seem to be giving Pac a lot of credit for transcending weight divisions. Some of these guys put his transcendence to shame.
