Rocky Marciano was SLOW in terms of comparing his handspeed, footwork and all other aspects of QUICKNESS when compared to all of the other "GREAT HEAVYWEIGHTS"... but he made up for it... IN A BIG WAY... with everything else! Power... Heart... Will... Chin... Overall Toughness (the likes of Jack Dempsey) and he never... not once... EVER... gave up... EVER!

Not so sure about all you said about Rocky Marciano's speed and footwork. But if it wasn't all that good like you said. I guess as tough as he was it didn't matter because nobody ever did beat him. (smiling)

So you're saying that Marciano was quicker than Joe Louis? I know that Marciano was the greatest brawler ever... but I guess this also makes him "THE QUICKEST BRAWLER EVER"... and brawlers aren't really meant to be all that quick!!!

Tyson was the fastest brawler ever, then Frazier, then Marciano.
