If Marciano went for 50-0.....
If Rocky Marciano for the "golden 50" to end his career with 50-0, who do you think he would've fought and do you think he would've remained undefeated? I think he would've fought Floyd Patterson, and he would've beaten him in either rounds 5 or 6.

I agree! Paterson was a top contender when Marciano fought Moore.

Bill,
How old was Rocky when he retired? I think his only loss would have come as the result of being in the game to long, so he got out while he could ,which is very rare trait in an athlete.

Marcaino passed up on fighting plenty of people, he knew that if he lost the title it wouldnt be covered up like maybe an earlyer loss.

You don't like the fact that Marciano went undefeated do you? You don't like Marciano at all is sort of what it sounds like.

Nino Valdez could have also been a option.

Patterson went all wobbly when his wife slapped him, what would of happen when the Block Buster Hit him. Same thing that happened when Liston hit him.
KO uinthe 1st round

Yeah, Liston could beat an old Marciano. In their primes it would be a heck of a fight though. I would give it to Marciano by late round KO.
