I've never seen a fight of his, but I've heard about him quite a bit. I would love to see one of his fights. What was his style and what was his impact on his era?

One of the great things about the modern web is how many old fights are out there on it. For example, here is Oscar de la Hoya vs. Jesse James Leija, although that one is more of a reminder of when de la Hoya was a wrecking ball than anything else.

Leija was one of my favorite boxers of the time. The guy fought his butt off!
