I'm going to go with Joe Frazier. Frazier loved the body, the famous motto he used to a tee was "kill the body and the head will fall." When he dug the left hook to the body he put everything he had into it. There was nothing he loved doing more than putting his head on his oponent's chest and digging punches into the ribs.

I think there is a good chance that either Micky Ward (P4P) or Gerry Cooney possessed the hardest left hooks to the body though. Both knocked out various people with left hooks to the body and badly hurt very durable oponents with it.

Duran has an absolute splendid range of body shot knockouts, much better than those mentioned above. His Fernandez knockout alone deserves a prize essay written about it because it was so clever and full of artistry, as it was savage. Funny how everyone rates Duran as the greatest lightweight ever but are absolutely ignorant about the said career. Pactardism at its best!!!

In many ways Frazier reminds me of Duran but at a much lower level of technical ability and talent.

frazier but foreman did too. Ward is defo up there and hatton too. Tyson might be the best i saw. He was a beast to the body.

Marciano wore most of his opponents down with body shots.

p.s. Zale getting clobbered in '46 title fight, won with *one shot to the solar plexus. Some fans said it looked like his arm went "up to the elbow."
