Pacquiao has the speed and endurance advantage over Oscar, I think Oscar will dominate in the early rounds, but will eventually fade and tire while Manny has proven that he only gets stronger and stronger as the rounds go on. It will end in a close UD either way or hopefully a KO for the pound 4 pound king
This will only happen if Manny will execute and stick to the game plan which is in and out. Speed will prevail over power.
DLH,inspite of the age factor still has that devastating power punch which I doubt that Manny can absorb fairly.
I don't get why people think that Oscar will be stopped. Pacman began his career around 114, and is fighting someone who's prime weight is 147. Oscar hits harder and has a better chin. Only one man has stopped Oscar, and that was Bernard Hopkins with a nice liver shot. But that was @ 160. Who else has stopped him? Nobody. Mosley, Mayweather, Mayorage, Whittaker, Sturm, Chavez, Vargas, TRINIDAD, Quatrey.. the list goes on. They couldn't stop De La Hoya, and I highly doubt that somebody who's coming up almost 12lbs from his last fighting weight (which wasn't natural anyway) is going to stop him. Face it everybody, De La Hoya is going to absolutely smash Pacquiao. This is going to be a brutal stoppage, and Pacman won't even wobble De La Hoya.
Exactly. Oscar has faced massive punchers, much bigger than Pacquiao, and he's come through before.

yeah,Im just being optimistic and that's why I clearly stated the words "FOR ME, IF". Its only my own personal opinion. And mind you, anything can happen in the ring. Even the GREATESTS have their fall...
Beside this fight wouldn't be posible if Manny don't really have a chance. And why does DLH went on training way earlier than Manny did? Because DLH is an intelligent and professional fighter. He's not taking Pacquiao lightly. DLH is NOT as DUMB as everyone of us is.

I have lot of respect to Golden Boy because he believes in FILIPINO fighters. He RESPECT FILIPINO boxers sincerely. He even trained for sometimes in a local boxing gym here in the PHILIPPINES for his fight against Forrest under Freddie Roach.
DLH is a complete package of a boxer, almost.
He's the one who beat the GREAT MEXICAN LEGEND JULIO CESAR CHAVEZ SR.
No doubt, no questions bout his skills as a boxer, but who knows? "BILOG ANG MUNDO". The world is round and anything can happen.
DLH will KO him within 8 rounds. I don't even think Pac will hurt DLH. This will be like Hopkins/DLH except DLH will be the Hopkins and it will be a way more brutal KO.
I like this analogy.
Oscar can kiss his legacy goodbye if he doesn't do exactly this.
When Hatton said the winner of this fight is #1 lb for lb in the world, he forgot to say only if Pacman wins. If De La Hoya knocks the kid out in 1 round I still have him behind Vernon Forrest @ Junior Middleweight (the weight he should be fighting at), much less consider him anything lb for lb.
I swear to god if De La Hoya vs Hatton is ever made I'm never watching an Oscar fight or a replay of one again. Maybe I'll watch him if he dresses up like the woman he is again tho.

Oscar's fight against Forrest? Forrest who?
Damn sure not Vernon Forrest, he'll duck that fight to the end of the earth.

1. Oscar's legacy is set. His 10/15 years of hard work won't be undone by ungrateful haters.
2. You need to stop nuthugging Forrest.
3. No-one cares whether you watch Oscar or not. Plenty of others will watch Oscar .
4. Those pictures have been proved as fake. Again you're showing how immature you are.
LOL. Calling Oscar a duck . One of the worst posts made on this forum since I joined up.
Everyone here can agree if Oscar wanted to prove anything to the world right now it's either by facing Margarito or Forrest. He's opted out of both.
Back when Oscar was still good the best Junior Middleweight was Winky Wright, he ducked that too.
Back when Oscar was 140 and Tsyzu was the recognized champion and best of the division, he ducked that fight too. THIS fight by far was the fight to see in boxing. Two gold medalists coming out of the SAME Olympics. Even if Oscar has always been only strictly in it for the money this was the fight to take. He ducked this fight like Sugar Ray Leonard ducked Aaron Pyror.
