Dave Murphy is on a distinguished road
BHOP is an acquired taste, much the same way some don't care for a Baseball Game that evolves into a Pitchers Duel, they only want to see guys crossing the plate.

Hopkins UD12 Calzaghe.

Calzaghe wouldn't beat a prime Hopkins, but at the same time Hopkins doesn't knock Calzaghe out. Calzaghe has an underrated chin IMO. But regardless of his workrate, his slapping or anything else Calzaghe has, Hopkins is better. Hopkins in his prime could macth Calzaghe's punch output.

If you don't believe me, Hopkins currently holds the Middleweight record for total power punches landed, with 375, in a fight that he threw 821 punches, and landed 419. Hopkins can have a high punch output, and his punches would hurt Calzaghe more then Cal's would hurt Hopkins.

Hopkins has a granite chin, and no matter how hard Calzaghe hit, he wouldn't even move it. Hopkins would probably drop Calzaghe once, on route to an easy win where he controlled the pace. First 5 rounds against Calzaghe, Hopkins controlled the pace. After that he started to gas, but a prime Hopkins doesn't gas.

Yeah, and that was only 4 or 5 years ago against Joppy.

IMHO, I see Hopkins winning the fight either by decision or KO, lol I cant decide.
