I think it would be extremely close with Cotto just doing enough to win. How I'd love to see Mayweather's post fight interview if Cotto kicked his ass.

I've gone for a Cotto stoppage. I could really see Cotto taking a late stoppage, possible in the 10th or 11th round. As great as Mayweather is, I still feel he was beatable (Castillo for example..) and I do think he would have had a lot of problems with Cotto.

Floyd wins by decision. No way does Cotto stop Mayweather, Floyd is way too good defensively for that.

If Cotto continues to improve the way he does I think he takes Mayweather, we'll see how he looks against Margarito. I agree, Mayweather's defense would be too good for Cotto to get a KO and Cotto doesn't really have one punch KO power. I think a SD is a good call either way.

i think cotto would wear mayweather down, however good mayweathers defense is he wouldn't be kept safe for 12 rounds, by the 9th cotto would dominate and a stoppage in the 11th or 12th would seal it for cotto.
